With the two teams playing each other on Thursday, it's very possible that the 7PM meeting at East Field could be a "Winner Takes All" game.
Here are the three scenarios that could happen tonight for the Glens Falls Dragons and the Albany Dutchmen:

ALBANY can clinch if....
Albany wins against Amsterdam + Glens Falls loss to Saugerties
ALBANY maintains their 1/2 game advantage over Glens Falls if...
Albany wins against Amsterdam + Glens Falls win over Saugerties OR
Albany loses against Amsterdam + Glens Falls loss to Saugerties
GLENS FALLS takes 1/2 game advantage over Albany if...
Albany loses against Amsterdam + Glens Falls win over Saugerties
The half game advantage will be in play should the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League be forced to cancel Thursday's finale at Glens Falls. There are widespread thunderstorms in the forecast, but meteorologists say those storms will pass through during the early afternoon and will clear out in time for the evening game.
With the PGCBL playoffs scheduled to begin the following night, July 31st, there's no room to reschedule the game in the event it gets rained out. Given the importance of this final game for these two teams, the PGCBL will be doing all they possibly can to make sure the game gets played tomorrow night at 7PM at East Field.
