All 16 regular season games will air on FOX Sports Radio 97.9FM/AM 1230, in addition to the final preseason game on Thursday, August 31st against the Detroit Lions as we ensure proper reception of the game broadcast prior to the regular season.
With new head coach Sean McDermott and returning stars like Lesean McCoy, the 2017 Buffalo Bills hope to end their playoff drought, sitting at 17 years without making the playoffs. But making the playoffs will be tough as the Bills face strong teams like the New Orleans Saints, Denver Broncos, Atlanta Falcons in addition to their AFC East opponents in the Jets, Dolphins and Patriots.
All broadcasts will begin two hours before kickoff with the Buffalo Bills Pregame Show, hosted by Howard Simon (Mike Schoop and Chris 'The Bulldog' Parker for the Thursday night game) as he and other members of the local Buffalo media analyze the upcoming game, and highlight major stories unfolding in the National Football League.
Play-by-play broadcaster John Murphy takes over 30 minutes prior to kickoff as he interviews head coach Sean McDermott and break down the keys to the game with his analyst partner Mark Kelso.
After the game, listen for the Buffalo Bills post-game report for a breakdown of the game, scores from across the National Football League, press conferences from the coach and key players, and reactions from Buffalo Bills fans.
Studio broadcasts will emanate from the WGR-550 studios in Buffalo.
