Lufkin treys up third straight Sectional Championship appearance

GLENS FALLS - No Joey Lufkin?  No problem.

Joey's brother, Kobe Lufkin, makes six three pointers as the Argyle Scots power their way to their third straight Sectional Championship appearance with their 57-41 win over North Warren.  Lufkin finished with 25 points, supplemented by Brock Liddle's 11 point contribution.  North Warren's Colby May scored a team-high 13 points, and Nick Sapienza ended his junior year with 12 points.

Lufkin's treys came at the key moments in the game.

North Warren came out to a slow start, falling behind 12-2 before going on a 9-0 run.  With his team up by 3, Kobe Lufkin scored two straight three point buckets to widen the gap.  In the 4th Quarter, off a North Warren turnover, Lufkin's shot from downtown widen the gap to eight.

The Argyle Scots now face Germantown in the Section 2 Class D Championship, Saturday at 2PM at the Glens Falls Civic Center.  The game will be broadcasted live on 1230 FOX Sports Radio.
